Holiday Catch Up

Thanksgiving 2009

For Thanksgiving - Paige's family got a cabin in East Zion - and we spent the weekend visiting, eating good food, and 4-wheeling.

NFR

Nick's parents both turned 60 - so we rented some condos in Vegas, and took them to see the National Finals Rodeo. We had a great time! Our condos were great - thanks Mike and Summer and Troy and Andrea! The rodeo was a blast! The night we were there - Cody Wright - a family friend from Milford - won the Saddle Bronc! It was so neat! After the rodeo - we went to the awards ceremony to see Cody get his belt buckle!

Christmas 2009

Christmas was GREAT! We spent Christmas Eve at Paige's Mom's - and that party got started around 10 pm - when Todd got off work! We ran home - and got snug in our bed - and waited for Santa to come! We got up at like 5 and headed back to Paige's Mom's for our Christmas there - We had a great time! Todd spoiled Mom - which was great for her! Mom got us Wii Fit Plus, and the new Super Mario Brothers! We have spent lots of time enjoying these new games!

After our traditional Christmas Breakfast - we headed back to our house for our little Christmas! Nick got new luggage, and some necessities. Paige got a new picture of Christ, and some diamond earrings! We had a great morning!

After we visited the Webb's - We headed to Minersville to see what fell out of Santa's sleigh there! Both Adrienne and Shakell got their first guns - so of course we had to head out in the hills and shoot! It was cold, but fun!

Marlene, Nick's Mom, wanted a picutre quilt for Christmas - so Paige - and all her craftiness - made a queen size quilt with pictures of the family! Marlene LOVED it!

We had a great Christmas!

New Years 2009

On New Years Eve, Nick came home from work with a surprise! He brought me roses, and a cute card - inside was a flight itenerary for us to go to EUROPE in February! We are so excited! We will be exploring London, Northern England, Scotland, and Paris. It is our 5 year wedding anniversary in May - so this is a great way to celebrate!

For New Years - Nick's brother Gus and his family came down to stay with us! Paige's mom and Todd, and Todd's daughter Aubree came, the Webbs, and Blair (because Vanessa was working!)

We had a great party! Eating Mexican food, we had a pinata, games, and of course the Wii! All of the kids stayed awake to bring in the new year with poppers, and sparkling cider!

Nick's 31st Birthday

Nick turned 31 last weekend! We had a small party with some of our friends! It was a blast just to get together, catch up and visit, and eat! Nick had to have Lava Molten Cake - and eventhought it takes a while to make - I was happy to make Nick happy! I'm so happy that Nick is my hubby - and I hope he had a great day! Happy Birthday Babe!

We already feel famous from our exposure with this article! We had many people talk to us at church that we didn't know, and even a gentleman stop us at the hospital today, because he recognized us from the paper - We are excited, and feel that great things will come from this amazing opportunity!
